This is a Fender Vibro Champ from the black face period, which seems to have been made in 1965, based on the serial number and specifications.

The clean and crunch sound unique to this period is a wonderful sound that can only be experienced with a true vintage vibro champ.

The small diameter of the speaker means that it doesn't become boomy, allowing you to enjoy a real vintage sound at home, in studio or mic'd at a gig.

As you can see from the image, the speaker has been replaced with a high quality Kendrick 8" speaker.

An Accutronics spring reverb has been added to the bottom, and a reverb adjustment knob, reverb tank input/output, and a reverb transformer and vacuum tube have been added to the back.

As far as I can tell from reading the date number, it seems that the original transformers have been kept except for the additional transformer.
